Every month, I make pretty accurate (80-100%) predictions about which books will be featured by Book of the Month (BOTM). I take a lot of time to research upcoming releases, analyze past selections, and choose books that are solid bets.
Don’t forget to take a look at my April Predictions for books that may still be selections in May.
I think the books will most likely drop on Wednesday, April 30 or Thursday, May 1. I am leaning towards Wednesday.
Contemporary & Literary Fiction
I wavered whether to include a few books but ultimately ruled them out (including Lloyd McNeil’s Last Ride by Will Leitch, A Sharp Endless Need by Jemimah Wei, Drifts by Kate Zambreno, Gulf by Mo Ogrodnik, and I Will Blossom Anyway by Disha Bose) that I do not think will be among the selections. If there is another early release, I think it will be Notes on Infinity by Austin Taylor (June) or Disappoint Me by Nicola Dinan (May 27).
